Consignment Agreement
Selling Terms and Conditions as follows:
In order to sell good quality items on your behalf they must be in “ready to sell” condition. That is, no missing buttons, broken zips, pilling, tears or stains. Any items that need dry-cleaning will mean a deduction from the final sale price to you. I will take only those items I know will sell based on my experience, season, condition and current trends. I will keep each garment/item for four weeks initially then will reduce the price for another two weeks to clear. After this, if the item has not sold, you have the option of taking the item/s back or to donate. The charities we support are listed overleaf and you can select your preference.
If you have certain items you wish to set a reserve price on, this must be made clear from the start. Upon being informed of any items that have not been sold after 6 weeks, a message will be sent via email, text or a call will be made to request pick-up. If items are not picked up within a week of contact, they will be passed on to a charity and no further contact will be made. Sorry! But my space is precious.
In agreeing to these Terms & Conditions you agree that as an owner of the garments you accept all risk of loss or damage (including shoplifting) while your clothing or goods are in the shop. All reasonable care of course will be taken while your clothing or goods are with us. The fee will be a 60/40 split (that is 40% of the final selling price will be yours as I pay the GST) and will be paid on the 20th of the month following the sale of the products into an account of your choice via internet banking. You are solely responsible for informing us of any changes to your bank details, phone number & email.
DESIGNER WEAR: Must be in excellent condition and you must be able to confirm it is authentic by way of documentation or receipt.
SHOES: All footwear must be in excellent condition and have no worn heels, scuffs or visible damage and must be thoroughly cleaned.
BAGS: Must be in excellent condition with a clean interior, no missing or broken zips, clasp or straps.
JEWELLERY: Must be in excellent condition with no broken clasps or missing embellishments.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY clothing without manufacturer’s labels, Menswear, Socks, Swimsuits, Lingerie, Children’s clothing, Toys, or Bedding of any kind.
